Double Treble, a Northern Virginia (NOVA) based music band, brings young talent together (exclusively school kids - Less than 18 yrs) in an inspiring space where they discover their musical voice, build confidence, and connect through the shared joy of music. Double Treble Music Foundation sparks creativity in first-generation American youth through Indian Tamil music. We transform lives—one note, one beat, one unbreakable cultural connection - at a time.

Our Journey & Growth
What began as a passion project with just 6 to 8 children united by a shared love for music has grown into a vibrant community of more than 80 student musicians. Double Treble provides a creative space where youth learn, perform, mentor, arrange, and compose music across a wide range of genres and traditions. While we proudly celebrate the richness, beauty, and cultural significance of Tamil music, we are not limited by any one musical style. Our students are encouraged to explore diverse artistic influences, create original compositions, collaborate with fellow musicians, and develop their unique musical voices. Together, they produce full-scale live performances for audiences across Northern Virginia, fostering confidence, creativity, leadership, and a lifelong appreciation for both music and cultural heritage.
